As I sit here getting my mind right and intentions set for the day, week, month, I’m reminded of how December is not my favorite time of year. Yeah, yeah, I know how dare me!!

Truthfully, December has lost its true meaning. It’s more and more about “I need this” and “I want that” and if I don’t get what I want I’m going to be upset and possibly mad for a very long time coming.

In my opinion, December should be more about making time for loved ones with no strings attached.

I’ve adopted this mindset into my agency, and it’s been received very well.

Instead of Christmas cards, we send out Thanksgiving Cards to give our thanks and gratitude to all our customers. Without our customers, we have no job.

This December, you’ll see Mrs. Clause and Santa roaming around Richland Parkway handing out candy canes, rubber duckies, yo-yos, and hot coco with marshmallow packets on Fridays and Saturdays. In hopes to bring genuine smiles and happiness to everyone’s faces.

Our Marketing team will be dropping by local businesses to hand out sugary goodness just to thank them for being in business and surviving 2024.

For those family members with December Birthdays, we will drop what we are doing and spend quality time with them.

We will attend open houses and grand openings along George Washington Way in Richland and surrounding areas to show our support.

You’ll see us at the Winter Wonderland in the John Dam Plaza to kick off the joyous season. Counting down to turn the City of Richland holiday lights on and the lighted truck parade. Then we’ll head down to Howard Amon Park to watch the lighted boat parade.

December will be Joyous and festive, but also full of love, support, and smiles.
